This is the first ever purpose built Ahmadiyya Mosque in Zion where the community was established many years ago and had a Mission House which was also used as a Mosque. This Mosque will be inagurated inshAllah by Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the 5th Caliph of the Promised Messiah.
The foundation stone of the Fath-e-Azeem Mosque (meaning the Grand
Victory) and the adjoining complex was officially laid on 10 July 2021.
Construction was completed by Summer 2022. The new site is
about ten acres of land and is situated at the corner of Lewis Avenue
and 27th Street. The project cost is around $5
million. The structure of the building is a mixture of modern
design and traditional mosque architecture and a total of roughly 13,000
sq ft in size. It consist of a large prayer hall on the main floor
with a community room and a kitchen in the basement. There is also a
minaret. Another key component will be an exhibition hall that houses
items and historical documents that tell the story of Islam Ahmadiyyat. The foundation stone for the Minaret has been laid by Khalifa tul Masih the 5th on the inaguration of the Mosque in 2022 and will inshAllah complete in the near future.
