This beautiful mosque in the northern city of Hamburg is the second oldest mosque in Germany. In 2007 it celebrated its 50 year anniversary. The foundation stone for the mosque was laid on the 22nd of February 1957 and the mosque was opened four months later on the 22nd of June 1957.
