The two-storey, 10,000 sq.-ft. mosque will be built on the southeast corner of Hwy. 10 and Sandalwood Parkway. It will have a 96-foot tower, or minaret, topped with a blue dome

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is pleased to announce that on 11 October 2016, the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa (Caliph), His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad inaugurated the Baitul Afiyat Mosque (House of Peace and Security) in Scarborough, Ontario Province, Canada.

The Baitul Afiyat Mosque was purchased in 2008 and over the next few years it was re-developed into a Mosque.A special distinction of this Mosque was that the vast majority of the cost was funded by Lajna Imaillah Canada (Ahmadiyya Ladies Auxiliary Organisation). In total, Lajna Imaillah contributed $1 million dollars to this project, whilst the rest of the cost was paid by local Ahmadi Muslims.

Ground breaking ceremony was held on the 5 October 2013 which was attended by the Ameer Jamaat Canada Malik Lal Khan Sahib as well as many Dignitaries from municipal, provincial and federal level of government. The $6 million project was completed by the grace of Allah in 2016.The 25,000-square-foot mosque was built across from the Greenbryre Golf Course, just outside city limits in Corman Park near Highway 16. Topped with a 100-foot minaret, it features classrooms, a sports facility and separate prayer and event halls for men and women. The Mosque was inaugurated by his Holiness Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the 5th Khalifa of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on his 2016 tour to Canada.

This new Mosque was inaugurated on the 4th of November 2016 in the Western Canadian city of Regina. Foundation stone for the mosque were laid on the 1st of October 2014. Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad inaugurated the Mahmood Mosque and delivered the Friday Sermon here during his tour of Canada in 2016. The Mahmood Mosque is the first ever purpose built Mosque to be built in Regina.

Tha Bait ur Rahman (House of the Gracious God) mosque in Vancouver on the banks of the Fraser river will be a stunning 25000 square feet mosque which will become the largest mosque in British Columbia Canada. It is has been completed now and has been inaugurated by his holiness Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the 5th Khalifa of the Promised Messiah on 18 May 2013.

Al Nusrat Mosque - Montreal Quebec Canada

In December 1995, the Al Nusrat Mosque, moved to this location on the shores of St Lawrence River. It was a large rectangular building, providing a panoramic view. There were two main floors overlooking the river and a basement. The three floors provided about 10,000 square feet of space, with adequate washrooms on each floor and wudu (ablution) facilities. The main floor was carpeted and was used for prayers and seminars. The second floor had classrooms, kitchen facilities, and four guest rooms. There were separate entrances for men and women. 

This building has been sold by the Ahmadiyya Community in 2012, and a new site has been acquired. We shall update this post as new information and pictures emerge.

This beautiful new building named the Tahir Hall is a complex consisting of various offices of the Jamaat Canada, a large community hall and it will also be the home to the new Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada. It was inagurated by Hazur on the 11th of July 2012 on his Canadian tour 2012.
