This Mosque was built in the memory of the late Chaudhury Muhammad Ihsan Janjua Sahib who was a Missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Commuity in Sierra Leone from 1944-1951. The foundation stone was laid 27 Oct 2018.

This former Church which was built only about 10 years ago was purchased by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat USA. This was converted to a Mosque to serve the surronding region and has a capacity of about 1000 people. It was formally inagurated by Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V on his USA tour 2018.

The current prayer center of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat has been granted with planning permission to build 2 Minarets and a Dome to the current site. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is pleased to announce that on 10 April 2017, the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa (Caliph), His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad inaugurated the Aafiyat Mosque (Mosque of Peace and Security) in the German city of Waldshut-Tiengen. It is the 50th Mosque of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Germany.
